We are in the process of trying to raise money for a D.A.D. (Diabetic Alert Dog) for Will from Virginia based company Warren Retrievers. Diabetic alert service dogs are trained to recognize and alert on the scent of low and/or high blood sugar in diabetics. Through their trainers and their unique process, they are recognized as a leader in providing the highest quality bred, impeccably trained medical alert service dogs available today. Isn’t that incredible? As you can imagine the cost of these service dogs are extremely expensive but we have 2 years to raise the money. We need to raise approximately $19,000.
Service Dogs by Warren Retrievers is a fully incorporated 501 (c) (3)*organization and is the philanthropic arm of Warren Retrievers and Diabetic Alert Dogs by Warren Retrievers.
Harley has been with us for a year now and is doing great! She is always on top of Will’s blood sugar during the daytime. Her obedience has come a long ways from a few months ago. She loves playing outside and running around like a wild woman. She finds her spot at the bottom of Will’s bed at night so she can stay close to him. She is not alerting at night, but hopefully that will come soon!
